Play Groups

The Wonderful World of Playgroups

At Project Connect Attleboro CFCE we offer a variety of playgroups for children, their parents/grandparents/caregivers. Playgroups are held throughout the week and on Saturdays. Typically, playgroups are scheduled for a 6-8 week series. Registration is required. Playgroups are developmentally appropriate and encourage connections. Groups support literacy and language, cognitive development, STEAM exploration, social emotional learning, and develop fine and gross motor skills. This occurs in a play setting which is the job of young children. Providing rich opportunities for children helps prepare them for school success. Activities include free play, clean up, reading, circle time and weather permitting, outside play. Parents are encouraged to participate with their children. Playgroups are staffed by parent educators and a program assistant.

For dates and times and a description of playgroups offered please see our monthly newsletter. For any questions, please call the center at 774-551-8251 or email Jacquie at jcapitanio@attlleboroschools.com.
